El Dorado is the current BETA version of Gnosis VPN.

What it is

  • CheckA working decentralized VPN built on the HOPR mixnet
  • CheckDesktop client with app, service, routing, funding, and diagnostics components
  • CheckDesigned to connect users without them needing a full HOPR node
  • CheckBuilt with traffic-leak protection, route health checks, and DNS/routing controls
  • CheckCurrently being stabilized through user testing before larger-scale onboarding

What it isn't (yet)

  • XAvailable on Windows or mobile
  • XA polished, market-ready consumer VPN
  • XScaled for global usage, ultra-high bandwidth demand, or thousands of mix nodes
  • XFree from routing, session, shutdown, and recovery edge cases
  • XFully trustless

Privacy by default

HOPR logo

The HOPR mixnet provides anonymous bandwidth for any sort of communication. Gnosis VPN provides VPN services on top of this anonymity layer.

Gnosis Chain logo

Gnosis VPN needs a maximally resilient and decentralized chain as a trust anchor for censorship-resistant retrieval of HOPR mixnet topology and settling transactions.

Safe logo

Every Gnosis VPN node manages access to the Gnosis VPN tokens it needs to function via a Safe smart account powered by HOPR Safe Staking.
